M. B. in California had suffered from crippling pain for about 20 years, and recently had an adverse reaction to prescription meds mixed with aspirin. What Happens During a Treatment?
The session begins with a discussion of a bit of the life history of the client. This assists the practitioner in determining the direction the healing session may take. The client is asked some basic health and treatment information to find any contraindications to the treatment. I always offer a silent prayer for the client, which includes thankfulness to the source of the energy flowing from my hands, as it works on the client as needed for his/her highest good.
Next, the client is encouraged to get comfortable by loosening clothing or removing shoes and jewelry. The client lies first on his or her back on a massage table fully-clothed, or sit on a chair. I place my hands lightly on or just above the body, usually starting at the head and working down towards the feet, or directly on the problematic area if the client states where the problem lies.
Once the energy is flowing smoothly at the front of the body, the client usually is encouraged to roll over and the healing continues on the back.
The client is encouraged to breathe deeply and relax and often feels a sense of flowing heat, coolness or tingling.
When Should I Expect to See or Feel a Change?
Please do not expect an immediate relief of symptoms, though it has happened in many cases. You must give the energy time to work. Some clients may feel an immediate relief. Others may feel relief after a while. For chronic cases, more than one treatment may be needed, though the client is in control of how many treatments he/she desires to have. Miracles HAVE occurred, so why not give it a try?
It is recommended that the client drink water after sessions and possibly eat steamed vegetables to allow for detoxification after each treatment.
Client should ALWAYS FOLLOW HIS/HER DOCTOR'S RECOMMENDATIONS if being currently treated by a physician. NEVER STOP VISITING YOUR PHYSICIAN NOR DISCONTINUE YOUR PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS. This natural healing modality is just complementary to any treatment you may be receiving from a physician.
